Raises usually start in October -heard the general working stiffs were given 10-11% that may be rescinded, but officials at CUNY not affected - would like to know the truth to this being our Staes economy is going on life support.
PSC (the faculty) got 7% in raises, half of which is retroactive to 2007; another 3% raise is coming in 2009. In general the new contract was good to the people towards the top of the pay scale but has some adjuncts grumbling over a continuing benefit gap.
